What is stored locally

When you search for or paste a video link, the video ID or search query is temporarily kept in your browser's session storage so the search or download page can show your result. This stays on your device and clears when you close the tab.

Standard technical data

Like most websites, basic technical information, such as browser type and general usage patterns, may be logged automatically for security and performance purposes. This isn't used to identify you personally.

Cookies

Y2Meta doesn't use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Any storage used is limited to making the site function correctly.

Some pages may link to third-party sites. We aren't responsible for the privacy practices of sites we don't operate.
